Premal drove comprehensive turnaround of FCC Heavy Metals projects as primary USP Liaison, re-establishing core objectives, drafting charge for sub-committee, and gathering 639 relevant monographs. He opened the door to a business partnership between a fortune 100 company and USP through targeted presentation on synchronous benefits between USP/FCC and the company in the food safety area (particularly good colors from natural and synthetic sources).

Premal has worked at USP in the R&D capacity from 2005-2011 and then in the scientific liaison capacity from 2011-2017. He has leveraged his technical expertise to determine optimal approaches to specific analytical requests and problems related to a broad variety of materials. He has successfully prepared, coordinated, and executed project test plans adapted to each situation; evaluated results to ensure the validity of adaptations and robust outcomes.
Premal holds MS in Plant Pathology from Kansas State University and M.Sc. in Plant Pathology and B.Sc. in Agriculture from Gujarat Agricultural University, India.
