Born and raised in central and southeast Ohio, Rachel is a diehard Buckeye. Her 9+ years of experience began at Mars Inc. as a Lab Technician, but lies extensively in plant Q&FS and R&D where she worked with low-acid canned food, from raw ingredients and packaging to finished product. Her experience includes managing Food Safety System programs (Internal Audit, CAPA, HACCP, GMPs/GHPs, food defense, training, etc.). She is a certified lead internal auditor (ISO FSSC 22000) and has a B.S. Degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University. Her primary love and full-time job includes being a wife and a mother of two amazing little girls.
